Lauren turns five years old. I can not believe that it has been 5 years already since she was born. I remember the day!
Here is the special birthday card that I made to celebrate her birthday:
She loves girly femine things, but she is just as likely to join in with the rough and tough too. Her favorite colors are pink and purple.
This card is made using whisper white card stock with an embossed polka dot layer. The cupcake is stamped with Black StazOn ink on Water Color Card Stock and colored in using my classic Stampin' Up! ink pads and a paint brush and carefully cut out and popped out with dimensionals. If I am going to cut something out, I much prefer to use the water color card stock because it has lots more body to it. Try it, you'll like it! Don't miss checking out the teeny pearls that I have edged the cake plate with. They are fro Stampin' Up!'s Basic Jewels - Pearls Collection - love 'em!
I used Pink Pirouette taffeta ribbon and "dangled" the number "5" from it (used the new upcoming stamp set "Memorable Moments" from the Demonstrator Sneak Peek!).
If you have any questions, just leave me a comment or drop me an email. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAUREN!
