Does this look like a winter picture to you? The grandchildren got to spend the day and the night with us yesterday! After their nap we packed up a light snack and headed to the park. They ate their snack in a bit of a hurry to run off to the playground.
Their is one of those large slide complexes with just about six slides coming off of it - they love them and running all around. A GREAT TIME was had by all!
Everyone is working to keep portion control under control. This sweet treat holder will do that - it holds only one little Tootsie Roll!

Your points should line up with the 2" mark, now just score 3/8" on each side of that center point, (that would be at 1 5/8" & 2 3/8")

This card is made using the Note Cards + Envelopes found on page 182 and I used the SAB FREE stamp set "Outlined Occasions" found on page 10 of the SAB catalog.

I made this box using the brushed gold card stock. I love the weight and the sturdiness of it. It really makes a lovely gift worthy gift box. The, it just needed some jewels so I embellished it using the Basic Jewels - Rhinestones from the Stampin' Up! Big Catalog. I love how it turned out, I hope you do too and will give it a try!
This is no doubt the perfect LITTLE gift - well, could it really get much smaller than just one tea bag?

This holder is made from a small piece of colored card stock and the insert is made from a piece of DSP - you will want to collect lots of this during SAB this year to make up several handfuls of these little gems to keep on hand!

OK, this is a beautiful stamp set that should be a must have for you even if you don't own a Big Shot and the new Labels Collection Framelit Die to make ever so easy to cut out - you could cut this one by hand!
I have used an OLD TECHNIQUE that I often forget about. The main image is from the Occasions mini catalog stamp set called Apothecary Art (page 25). I have stamped it using Jet Black StazOn ink onto Vellum Cardstock that SU! carries and then turned it over and colored in the image with these markers: Pool Party, Poppy Parade and Wild Wasabi. This image was then glued using a few small dots of Liquid Monoadhesive (love, love this great glue) onto a piece the same exact size of Whisper White Card Stock.
The greeting is from the Hostess stamp set: Perfect Words in the Big Catalog. Card Stock used is Vellum, Whisper White, Pool Party, and Attic Boutique DSP. Inks: StazOn and marker mentioned above and for sponging some edges the Pool Party ink pad. If you have trouble figuring out any other items just send me a quick email at pennie.mccallum@comcast.net
I made this card for a Dear Aunt that turned 96 years old! You may have seen a post back in October that I did for this Aunt's sister that turned 98 years old on September 29th. Wow, longevity must run in MY family - and they are just the most wonderful pair. It is always such fun to pay a visit with them, they catch me up on the whole family and who is doing what.
The flowers are from the stamp set Creative Elements (this set is so versatile, a great one to have for creating many different looks). I stamped the flowers on water color paper (from Stampin' Up! of course) using Poppy Parade and then just blended the ink on the left and right flowers with my Aqua Painter, and for the middle flower I added a bit of Daffodil Delight ink to my Painter to give it a little different look.

It's so nice to be back to posting somewhat regularly. Life has been so busy for me since we moved to the west coast from the east coast. If you live in the Phoenix area or the Redmond, WA area please leave me a comment.
Add to making the long distance move, getting a new computer and learning the ins and outs of it and figuring out a new camera too, and I have finally put it all together so I can enjoy my stamping AND sharing.
