Autumn Days

 This stamp set is so versatile - you could even use it in the Winter, Spring or Summer too! I tried a little more of a watercolor effect for this card.  The image is stamped on Water Color card stock (love this stuff).  First I slightly moistened the card stock with a paint brush and water (didn't want it too wet).  Then I inked my image and stamped it on the moist card stock.  When it dried (can use your heat tool to speed the process) I re inked it twice and stamped it again.

 This stamp set is definitely a winner in my book - I LOVE it!!! I have several cards and a 3-D item to post for this one, so be sure to come back and see what else I have to post with it.

This is really a very basic card, the twist is where I have placed the rectangle, very off center and I love the look of the wheat stamp used on the background - very subtle.

Christmas in July

 Are you one of those super organized people that are already planning, and maybe already stamping your Christmas Cards?  Don't overlook the possibilities with the Stamp Set "Autumn Days".  The stamp with the Pine Cones and Pine Bough would be perfect.

This makes for a pretty quick and easy gift to make.  The gift cards measure 3" x 3".  To make these cards quicker, grab your Whisper White 8 1/2 x 11 and score the long way at 3", FOLD then trim the whole length at 3" from the fold (now you have one long folded piece of card stock that measures 3" x 11").  Now LIKE MAGIC, cut off 3" pieces and VOILA you have three ready to decorate 3 x 3 cards - make a million of them, go ahead!

 I think you can!  I embossed the image with white embossing powder and did sponging on the DSDP with matching ink - makes the embossed image POP more!

I think that I can see a little TEA in your future!

 I love to make these little tea bag BOOKs for holding a couple of tea bags - a sweet gift!  I first made these back in the Spring of 2001 for a downline meeting that I was hosting. 

Everyone went home with the project.  I decided to send in the projects from this meeting to Stampin' Up! and lo and behold 6 months later a whole page article appeared in our wonderful Stampin' Success magazine that is mailed to every demonstrator.  You can not totally imagine my surprise to see a full page of pictures and infos about my meeting and my make and takes. 

So, if you are a demonstratorand would like the measurements for this sweetie, just head over to the Demonstrator Website and log in to the archives for the Stampin' Success, bring up the February 2002 issue and Flip to page 20!  If you are not a Stampin' Up! demonstrator then contact your demonstrator that you love to learn and purchase from and ask her to get this info for you.  OH HAPPY DAY!  Here is a picture of the holder opened:

 

More Dazzle....

 .. with a little bit of Razzle.  This one really is prettier in real life.  It translates to a clean, fresh, strong white lines cards - very pretty. 

Supplies:  Stamp Set:  Razzle Dazzle; Ink:  Versamark; Card Stock, Melon Mambo, Whisper White and Raspberry Lemonade DSDP;  Accessories:  Clear Embossing Powder and heat tool, white satin ribbon and dimensionals.

 Couldn't be easier, have you noticed that I often do the straight forward easy cards.  Not everyone has TIME to spend on a card that needs to get into the mail.  This is just that type of card, elegant, simple, EASY, and QUICK!

Supplies"  Stamp Sets:  Razzle Dazzle and Teeny Tiny Wishes;  Inks:  Versamark; Card Stock:  Soft Suede, Brushed Gold and Whisper White to line the inside of the card (I just about ALWAYS put a piece of neutral card stock inside for the message, cute little stamp and hand written note to be put on.  Accessories:  Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Brands, dimensionals, heat tool.  See, not even too many supplies to get out and to put away.

The Last of the Circus (For Now)

Once I started putting ink on the rubber stamps in the Circle Circus stamp set, it had me.  I love all of the different looks you can get with this one set.  Every time you stamp you come up with something different - I love that.  I have saved my favorite for last.  It is one of the easiest cards too. I hope you like this one as much as I do, if you do, go ahead and leave me a comment.  I feed on these comments by the way.
