I prefer to send a Thinking of You card instead of the usual "Sympathy" card. Just a personal preference, you could just as easily turned this into a "Sympathy" card by choosing a different Stamp Set.
This one is for a guy, and I think it has a bit of masculine flair, while still showing that I did think about it and did a little extra composing.
