A picture perfect Day!  One day last week, a friend from my way-back-past and I went on an adventure that she planned.  I had such a great time and it was such a lovely day.  We (actually, it was "she") drove us over to the coast line and we watched the Locks there in operation, very interesting!  I was fortunate to have earned the Stampin' Up! incentive trip a few years ago that went through the Panama Canal Locks.  You just never seem to get tired of witnessing this amazing way of stepping boats and ships from one body of water to another!

Actually, BEFOREthe Locks stop, we stopped at a lovely restaurant right on the water for a delicious lunch then AFTER the Locks we made one more stop for some wonderful gellato.  THEN it was shortly back to reality, but what a wonderful time we had----thank you Sue!

 

A couple of suggestions to try ..... for next time's lighting.

 OK, this is still yellowed, but the card came out well I think, so have decided to share pictures anyway because the card has already been mailed, so can not have a 're do', phooey!  I think I have it all figured out - this moving is really taking time to get me back to my groove.  I think my office is pretty well set up now, so will need to get some pictures taken and posted so you can see how I have PACKED tons into my space!

 Here is the whole card!  I love the softness of the card while still having contrasts.

OK, how bad is the lighting on this picture - looks like I used So Saffron card stock, but really it was Very Vanilla.  So, I will be working on the lighting!

 
Anyway, here is the card that I wanted to show you, I made it for my daughter.  My new stamp room is about 95% completed and set up - it is full!  Now to sit and have some creative fun!

Stamps:  Field Flowers;  Card Stock:  Very Vanilla, Perfect Plum;  Ink:  Wild Wasabi, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Crumb Cake (for edge sponging);  Accessories:  Stripes embossing folder, Basic Jewels (pearls), Modern Label Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Chantilly crochet trim.
