Tea Shoppe Fun

It's so nice to be back to posting somewhat regularly.  Life has been so busy for me since we moved to the west coast from the east coast.  If you live in the Phoenix area or the Redmond, WA area please leave me a comment.

Add to making the long distance move, getting a new computer and learning the ins and outs of it and figuring out a new camera too, and I have finally put it all together so I can enjoy my stamping AND sharing.

I made this card for a friends Birthday.

SUPPLIES:  stamp set - brand new Tea Shoppe in the Occasions mini catalog.  Ink colors: Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, and Lucky Limeade.  Card Stock:  Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, and the beautiful new Sweet Shop Specialty DSP also in the new Occasions mini catalog.

Other accessories used are the stripe Embossing Folder and the lovely Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine.

SUPPLIES:  Stamp Sets: Take it to Heart and Teeny Tiny Wishes (what? you don't own this one? you should, it is a real work horse!) Colors:  Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Riding Hood Red, and Basic Gray.  Accessories:  Hearts Collection Framelit Dies, and these punches:  corner rounder and square (use it to make the pointy ends on the NEW Sweet Shop Specialty DSP! 

Bordering on Romance - take 2

Still playing around with this fun set - I love the images - the boldness appeals to me a lot!  Be sure to check out the bold patterned paper for the background.

Using Bold Papers TIP!:  When using these papers that can become overwhelming, I have found to include plenty of plain area such as the off white color that surrounds the flower image.  You can add the plain area either on your stamped focal image, or make your image smaller and then add a wide plain layer somewhere on your card, scrap page or any project.

SUPPLIES: stamp sets used are Bordering on Romance and Teeny Tiny Wishes.  For colors I have chosen: Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade and Soft Suede.  I have used Stampin' Up!'s wonderful watercolor card stock and Attic Boutique DSP in the new Occasions Mini Catalog.  Love this paper and it's color palate!

I have also used a length of the NEW Pool Party Baker's Twine, three punches:  Modern Label, Word Window and Scallped Oval.

White on White - Love it!

If you haven't tried creating with white on white, what are you waiting for?  It is subtle, but gives plenty of look and some texture.

For this card I used the colors, Calypso Coral and Wild Wasabi.  Polka dots were made using my Big Shot and my Polka Dot Embossing Folder, as was the flower blossom using the still available "Snow Burst" Embossing Folder that is being carried over from the Holiday mini catalog - item #  124096

Stamp sets used are Fabulous Florets and for the words I used Curly Cute.

As a demonstrator we can reorder from it the month before it goes live. EVERYTHING in it is spectacular!
For this card I use Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade.
From the new mini catalog I used: Attic Boutique DSP, Bordering on Romance stamps, Edgelits Dies, and the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (it's made to match).
I have added a bit of sparkle too with the Dazzling Details --- It's still available from the Holiday mini catalog.
